Featured NAMG Campaign Submissions
National Advertising Media Group is proud to present three campaigns submitted to the 2026 Canadian Out-of-Home Awards.
Each campaign demonstrates a different use of place-based out-of-home media — from supporting an important community initiative, to creating engagement around women’s professional hockey, to connecting a national automotive brand with local arena audiences.
Victim Services Toronto - Ask for Angela
Supporting an Important Community Initiative Through Place-Based Media
Victim Services Toronto’s “Ask for Angela” campaign brought an important safety initiative into arena and recreation-centre environments through strategically placed out-of-home media.
The campaign used in-market placements, clear campaign messaging and QR-code integration to bring the initiative into community spaces while maintaining a respectful and considered approach to the subject matter.
By using place-based media within everyday recreation environments, the campaign demonstrates how out-of-home advertising can help extend the reach and visibility of an important community message.
Mattel / Barbie — PWHL Doll Campaign
Bringing Representation and Hockey Dreams Into the Arena
The Mattel / Barbie PWHL Doll Campaign brought Barbie and women’s professional hockey together through an out-of-home campaign built around representation, possibility and hockey dreams.
Arena placements brought the campaign directly into the hockey environment, creating a natural connection between the creative, the setting and the audience experiencing it.
The campaign demonstrates the ability of place-based media to extend a brand story into a relevant real-world environment and create engagement where the cultural connection is strongest.
Kia — Dealer-Aligned Arena Campaign
Connecting Kia With Local Arena Communities
Kia’s Dealer-Aligned Arena Campaign used large-format, place-based advertising to bring the brand into community arena environments while supporting alignment with local dealers.
Featuring the campaign message “Room for your team and their equipment,” the creative connected Kia’s messaging directly with the arena setting and the people experiencing it.
Through prominent placements and locally relevant execution, the campaign demonstrates how place-based out-of-home media can connect a national brand with audiences at the community level.
